Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit Tisane is summer in a cup. It comes alive once brewed, boasting sweet yet gentle fruity flavours with every sip. Some people choose to enjoy it as a steaming hot brew in the middle of winter.
Others make it into a cooling, refreshing Iced Tea. Whatever you decide, be sure to buy it right here at The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company.
There are no so-called “real” Tea leaves in Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit Tisane, meaning that, technically speaking, it isn’t a “Tea” at all. What it is, then, is a Fruit Tisane, a type of beverage that has, admittedly, become somewhat of an honorary Tea in recent years.
Furthermore, its absence of leaves from the Tea plant doesn’t change the fact that we pack it fresh to order.
Is Brewing Fruit New?
This Tea is a relatively new “invention.” The history of Fruit Tisanes as a whole, however, dates back millennia. The vast majority of historians indeed believe that brewing fruit came long before making regular Tea.
Yet its popularisation is a quintessentially American story. It began in 1773 after protesting colonists dumped 342 chests of Tea into the Boston Harbor – an event known as the Boston Tea Party.
This would become one of the sparks that led to the American Revolution, whereby shipments of Tea to America all but dried up due to British blockades. The new country’s citizens, as a result, eventually turned to making infusions with herbs and fruits instead.
Decades later, the Americans perfected the art of making Iced Tea, too, which is especially delicious when made with Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit Tisane.
Does This Beverage Have Caffeine?
Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit Tisane is an example of a caffeine-free Tea. This, in turn, makes it an excellent choice for those who’re looking to cut down their caffeine intake, particularly people who’re sensitive to its effects.
Pregnant women also have little to worry about when it comes to brewing up this infusion. Simply sit back, relax, and enjoy its indulgent flavour.

Is Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit Tisane Good for You
There is a common misconception that beverages such as Strawberry and Kiwi Fruit Tisane are void of any medicinal qualities.
While they do lack the antioxidant strength of regular Tea, they nevertheless complement a healthy and active lifestyle. This is because of them being a great alternative to more sugary, indeed more fatty, soft and fizzy drinks. And they taste better, too!
