What Does Plum Tea Taste Like?
But you’re probably here because you want to know what Black Plum Tea offers in terms of its taste. You can expect sweet, rich, floral notes – as well as, of course, a distinct “plum-like” character.

The Art of Flavouring Tea
Legend has it that Tea – specifically Green Tea – was discovered in 2737 BCE. It wasn’t long after that people started adding the likes of herbs, nuts and, indeed, fruits to their beverages.
The way we make Plum Leaf Tea today is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a little different. However, the tradition of flavouring Tea – from Chai to Earl Grey Tea – is unquestionably age-old.
Plum Tea Caffeine
Does Plum Tea have caffeine? The answer, simply, is yes. This is a type of Black Tea, and like all Black Teas, it boasts around 45-mg of caffeine per 8-oz cup.
But the question begs: is it a good thing? It depends on your perspective. If you already consume too much, then you might be better off with a Decaf Tea. On the other hand, if you need extra help starting your day, you’ve chosen well here.

Plum Tea Benefits

These chemical compounds do much to support your health and wellbeing, including combating free radicals in the body. In doing so, your morning cuppa can reduce the risk of developing numerous chronic conditions.
Furthermore, according to research, drinking Plum Tea – or even applying it topically if you don’t mind the scent – might improve skin health. This is again mostly because of its antioxidants, which can boost the rejuvenation of skin cells.
And then there’s the fact that its catechins and flavonoids, specifically, might even prevent skin infections. We’re not finished, either.
According to a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, it boosts immunity. The evidence found that Black tea Benefits promoted the body’s defences against infection while priming the immune system to attack invading bacteria, viruses and fungi. The bottom line is that, no matter what you’re looking for from your beverage, you’ve surely found it.
