The Art of Flavouring Loose Leaf Tea
The concept of adding different ingredients to an infusion is far from a new idea. It almost dates back as far as the discovery of Tea some 5,000 years ago. People used to include herbs, spices and, indeed, fruits while making their Tea.
We now do it for you, so you don’t have to. An important question nevertheless remains unanswered: Will it help you get out of bed in the morning?
Does Pear Tea Have Caffeine?
Pears by themselves might not contain caffeine, but Black Tea leaves do. This stimulant famously provides an energy boost upon consumption, helping you to start your day the right way.
Somewhat more specifically, there is around 45-mg of caffeine per serving of Pear Tea. This is significantly more than Oolong Tea (35-37-mg), Green Tea (30-mg) and White Tea (15-mg).
