Nepal Silver Tip White Tea is a delicate delight, a hand-crafted, top-grade Loose Leaf White Tea brimming with charm and elegance. Its large, silvery and wiry leaves come from Shree Antu in Ilam District, Nepal.
When brewed, it has a soft, subtle flavour with grassy notes. Perhaps best of all is that we pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory, ensuring quality and consistency.
What is Nepal Silver Tip White Tea?
Only around 0.1% of the world’s total Tea output comes from Nepal. This makes our Nepal Silver Tip White Tea a rare gem, the product of a nation of diverse environments, people, customs, cultures and languages.
Production started in 1863, although it wasn’t until the 1950s that widespread cultivation became commercially and economically viable. The first Tea factory opened in Ilam District in 1978.
Shree Antu is a sub-district within Ilam and the region’s most idyllic area. It is a popular tourist attraction best known as a place to see Nepal’s most beautiful Tea gardens.
A Silver Needle Tea (also called “Ying Zhen”) from here is unlike any other type of White Tea made from top buds (leaf shoots). It is indeed the best of the best, going above and beyond to impress casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike.
Does Nepal Silver Tip White Tea Have Caffeine?
A common misconception is that White Tea is void of caffeine. While its lack of processing means that it has less caffeine than other varieties, there is still some of the stimulant within its leaves.
You can expect around 15-mg of caffeine per serving, which, admittedly, isn’t much. This makes it an excellent alternative to more caffeinated infusions such as Black Tea. Be sure to buy it and try it today.

Benefits of Nepal Silver Tip White Tea
This Loose Leaf Tea only undergoes a minimal amount of oxidation. The result is that it retains the vast majority of its antioxidants. Antioxidants combat free radicals in the body, which in turn slows oxidative stress.
It then works on a molecular level to reduce the risk of developing a multitude of chronic conditions from cardiovascular disease to type-2 diabetes to even, potentially, cancer.
But that’s just the beginning. Such is the remarkable antioxidant strength of Nepal Silver Tip White Tea that it promotes weight loss. The way it functions here is by boosting the metabolism of fat cells, enabling the body to burn fat quicker and more efficiently.
What’s more, its abundance in other beneficial chemical compounds, including Vitamin C, means that it boosts immunity and aids digestion.
There’s still more. According to research from Kingston University, London, its antioxidants also improve skin health, especially acne. This is primarily because they flush out nasty toxins in your body.
The evidence went further to note that White Tea has antiseptic properties, another factor positively influencing the skin’s appearance. Forget expensive skin cream – instead, brew up a cuppa!
