Karteraki Herbal Tea is a traditional mix of loose herbs from central Crete. Each area in Crete produces a different version of this tea. Karteraki comes from the Greek verb which means to hope and wait, so Karteraki means a little hoping and waiting!
Ingredients- Dictamo, Malotira, Mint, Anise, Salvia and Marjoram.
Brewing Guide- We recommend using 1 teaspoon of the leaf, but if you like a stronger tea, then you could us up to 1½. This tea tastes best with freshly boiled water (roughly 100 degrees) and left to infuse for 5 to 10 minuets.
How to Serve- Serve without milk to make a fantastic healthy herbal tea.
Tasting Notes- A very pleasant taste with notes of Lemon.
