CBD and THC – What’s The Difference?
CBD stands for “cannabidiol”, which is one of the most prevalent cannabinoids found in the trichomes of the female cannabis plant and hemp. Unlike THC, it isn’t psychoactive and, as such, doesn’t have any side effects.
THC, meanwhile, means “tetrahydrocannabinol”. This is the cannabis compound that creates the famous “high” – one that is found only in trace amounts in our Hemp Herbal Tea Blend.
Indeed, the term “Hemp” refers to a variety of Cannabis that contains 0.3% or less THC content (by dry weight). In comparison, the term “Marijuana” applies to any type to contain more than 0.3% (by dry weight) and can thus induce psychotropic or euphoric effects.
Hemp Herbal Tea Blend is the former of the two. What it lacks in “high”, it makes up for in health benefits.

Hemp Herbal Tea Benefits
Two ingredients in this infusion, Hemp and Camomile, can help those with sleep disorders. In a recent US-based survey, 10% of Americans who reported trying CBD said they used it to help them sleep, with the majority of those people noting its efficiency.
Research indicates that CBD in Hemp interacts with receptors in the brain that govern the body’s daily sleep/wake cycles. This is similar to Camomile Benefits, which contains phytochemicals that positively influence the central nervous system.
