French Breakfast Tea Superior is a blend of Assam Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (TGFOP) and Keemun Mao Feng.
Its superiority comes in almost every sense from its quality to its taste to its health benefits. When brewed, it produces a golden-brown liquor and a rich aroma. Every sip boasts deep, malty, chocolatey notes – a true delight from start to finish.
What is French Breakfast Tea?
The name “French Breakfast” stems from the fact that we first made it for our French clientele. However, such was its immense popularity that people started drinking it around the world.
Indeed, whether you’re French, French-Canadian, English or Indonesian, you’re bound to fall for this delightful infusion. We pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory, thus ensuring quality and consistency.
French Breakfast Tea Caffeine
But freshness – while an undoubtedly excellent factor – isn’t all French Breakfast Tea Superior has to offer. If you need an extra boost first thing in the morning, then you’ll be pleased to know it contains around 45-mg of caffeine per 8-oz cup.
Caffeine in Tea might also provide health benefits such as reduced risks of developing cognitive decline. What more could you want from your favourite cuppa?
French Breakfast Tea Ingredients
The Assam Tea found in this blend comes from the Indian State of the same name. This region has produced Black Tea since the 19th century, the harvest of which is, today, one of the best-known and most-loved anywhere.
Much of the same applies to Keemun Mao Feng, a China Black Tea that likewise first surfaced in the 1800s and is now unquestionably famous worldwide.
French Breakfast Tea vs English Breakfast Tea
There are several significant differences between French Breakfast Tea Superior and our English Breakfast Tea. Perhaps most noteworthy is that the latter uses Ceylon Tea instead of Chinese Tea, which creates a wholly unique flavour when compared to the former.
Both are, of course, delicious, which is why we recommend you try both. Whatever you decide, you’re in for a treat.

French Breakfast Tea Superior Benefits
Habitual Tea drinking (at least three times a week) could support a longer, healthier life. This is according to a study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, which saw 100,902 volunteers split into two groups.
The first group consisted of volunteers who drank three or more cups of Tea a week.
The second group included those who drank less than three brews a week. Both sets of test subjects were followed-up for a median of 7.3 years.
The results ultimately established that 50-year-old habitual Tea drinkers have a 20% lower risk of developing coronary heart disease. Additionally, scientists noted that these same brew lovers could live up to 1.26 years longer than someone who never or rarely drank Tea.
