Choui Fong Tea is a rare, unique Green Tea from Thailand. Specifically, it comes from the Chiang Rai Province, the agricultural centre of the country. When brewed, these large, roughly-rolled and curled leaves produce a good body with floral, vegetal, grassy notes and delicate fruity undertones.
We pack Choui Fong Tea, like all Loose Teas, fresh to order – ensuring quality and consistency.
It’s worth noting, too, that this beverage has around 30-mg of caffeine per 8-oz cup. There is also the chance, according to the latest scientific research, of it providing Green Tea health benefits.
So, if you’re interested in trying one of the best Teas in Thailand, you’ve come to the right place. Why not buy it and try it today with The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company?
About Choui Fong Tea
Choui Fong is a Tea manufacturer in Choui Rai Province, North Thailand, which has made outstanding infusions for over 40 years.
Its plantation, the largest of the region, lies at 1,200 metres above sea level while boasting humid climatic conditions and rich, fertile soil. These elements, perhaps unsurprisingly, contribute significantly to the taste, character and profile of Choui Fong Tea.
This estate specialises in several Tea varieties, including Black Tea, Oolong Tea and, of course, Loose Green Tea. They have won many awards, one of which, in 2001, was presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
More recently, Choui Fong Tea has received five-star ratings from countless reputable organisations across Thailand and beyond. Discover its potential for yourself.

Benefits of Choui Fong Tea
Did you know that Green Tea, regardless of the variety, can help you to lose weight? This is according to a study published in the Journal of Research in Medical Sciences. The research involved participants living with type-2 diabetes, all of whom drank four cups of Green Tea daily for two months.
Scientists concluded that each volunteer experienced a significant drop in body weight, their BMI, waist circumference and blood pressure. What more could you want from your morning cuppa?
As it turns out, Choui Fong Tea indeed has other noteworthy qualities. It can, for example, combat free radicals in the body, which are the product of natural, though harmful, human oxidation.
In doing so, it reduces the risk of developing numerous chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease and even, potentially (although not yet proven outright), certain types of cancer.
