Delivery to Europe Update: 26/01/2021
The UK transition period with the European Union (EU) ended in 2020, and new rules took effect on January 1, 2021. The complexities surrounding these changes, brought about by BREXIT, have already impacted our delivery services to Europe.
We have found it increasingly difficult to ship our products to countries inside the EU, which we attribute to logistic issues on both sides of the channel.
What’s Happened with EU Deliveries
Challenges faced so far have included parcels getting caught up in customs checks for days and weeks at a time. Slow postal services, too, have played a role in delays due to Coronavirus.
The result is that, with deep regret, we have had to suspend deliveries to EU member states including Jersey Guernsey until further notice.
Our European customers are incredibly important to us, which is why we’ve concluded that the current system isn’t working.
Measures We’re Taking for the Foreseeable Future
Rest assured that anyone who has already ordered will receive their items as promised. However, those who have yet to place an order will, unfortunately, have to wait while we address the problems at hand.
