The Ingredients in Thyme Black Tea

Since then, the world has been introduced to not only Green Tea but White, Oolong and, of course, Black Tea. It is now the second most-consumed drink across the planet.
Meanwhile, Thyme Tea (Thymus vulgaris) is a perennial shrub from Europe and Asia. Reaching heights of up to 20 centimetres tall, it consists of a woody stem, seasonal flowers and aromatic green leaves.
In ancient Egypt, the plant played a role in embalming rituals. In ancient Rome, it was thought to combat poison. Then, in the 1340s, people believed it warded off the plague! It is today best enjoyed in Tea.
