Other Ingredients in Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane
Why is Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane red? Thank hibiscus, a flower with extraordinary qualities. We use Hibiscus sabdariffa in all of our Hibiscus Teas, but there are an estimated 300 other varieties! Hibiscus boasts a tart flavour similar to the taste of cranberry or pomegranate. The Ancient Egyptians used it for Hibiscus Tea benefits some 2,000 years ago. Little has changed today.
This beverage also contains Rosehip, the fruit of the Rosa (Rose) plant, which belongs to the Rosaceae family. The plant itself is a herbaceous shrub found in both the Eastern and Western Hemisphere. However, it most likely originated from Northern Persia (modern-day Iran and Iraq). Similar to Hibiscus, Rosehips have a slightly tart flavour. This contributes significantly to the complex flavour notes of Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane.
Another noteworthy addition to this Tea is cornflowers. These beautiful petals create a delicate floral flavour. Cornflowers come from the Centaurea cyanus plant. Interestingly, the Latin name “Centaurea” is inspired by the Greek Centaur, Chiron, who taught mankind the healing virtue of herbs. “Cyanus” takes its name from a renowned devotee of the Roman goddess Flora. According to legend, Cyanus loved cornflowers.
There are many more ingredients waiting to be discovered with our Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane. All of these blend to make an infusion like no other. This Tea, like all of our Teas, is packed fresh to order. This ensures not only quality but also consistency. So, what are you waiting for? Try our Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane today!

Benefits of Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane
According to NHS Choices, pregnant women should not exceed more than 200 mg of caffeine per day. This is the equivalent of around 2 cups of Coffee. However, with our Summer Fruits Iced Fruit Tisane, one doesn’t have to worry about any caffeine at all.
This is because a Fruit Tisane such as this one does not include any leaves from the Camellia sinensis (Tea) plant. Technically, this means that it’s not a “Tea” in the conventional sense. It also means that one can drink as many glasses of this blend as they like!
